In Nursery, the children have been exploring 2D shapes through fun, hands-on activities. They have been learning to name and describe shapes such as circles, squares, triangles and rectangles, using words like sides, corners and round.

Through shape hunts, feely bags and games the children have been spotting shapes in their environment and discovering how shapes fit together to make pictures and patterns. Our activities help to build early maths language, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills all through exciting play and exploration!
