The key lesson from Srebrenica genocide is that no society is immune from prejudice and intolerance. We must all remain vigilant against all forms of discrimination and hatred, and take positive actions to build stronger, more resilient communities. Our vision is to build a society where differences are celebrated.

A few years ago the Anthony Walker Foundation and the CPS launched a bursary scheme – spearheaded by Leona Vaughn – to aid those from Black and Ethnic Minority backgrounds into the legal profession.

The scheme is now back and we’re looking for young people aged 21 – 25 who might want to work within the CPS or wider legal sector. We’re looking for participants from both Liverpool and Manchester and the salary starts at £25,000

The Black-e is offering a fantastic opportunity with their Junior Youth Circus which will run from 4:30 till 6pm and their Senior Youth Circus from 6.15 till 7:30pm. 
Numbers are restricted, but you can email to book a place. You can also turn up on the day, but if all places are taken then you will no be able to attend.
Please bring a mask,  your own hand-sanitizer  (if you don’t wish to use those supplied) and your own equipment, when possible. Also, just a drink …no snacks unless you are there for both sessions.

A temporary pop-up radio station broadcast called CCR FM for Wavertree will be set up from the 5th of July to the 10th of July!
