All About Me!
Our nursery children have been celebrating everything that makes them special. We shared stories and conversations about ourselves—our faces, favourite things, and what makes each of us unique.

Using natural treasures from our garden walk that we found, we created fantastic faces using leaves, twigs, and stones from the garden to create beautiful self-portraits. Inspired by Billy and the Big New School, they explored different facial expressions and how our feelings can show on our faces by sticking and gluing different facial expressions on to portraits pictures.

To finish our “all about me” adventure, everyone designed a delicious pancake face using breakfast items and fresh fruit—smiles you could eat! What a wonderful way to learn about who we are while being creative, curious, and proud of ourselves.
