Today for Diversity Day we talked about “Black History Month”. We discussed how things were in the past and how they have changed today. We looked at important people who made a change such as Martin Luther King and people to be celebrated, like Usain Bolt. We read the poem and thought about how we can ‘rise above’ the challenges we might face.
