This week in Nursery we enjoyed reading the story Blue Chameleon. We talked about friendship and discussed what it might be like to choose someone different to play with for the day. The children shared ideas about what makes us the same and what makes us different, and we coloured in pictures of chameleons being friends.

We also explored the important message that, just like the chameleon, we are all unique. We talked about how we may look different, like different things, or be good at different activities and that these differences make our classroom special. We celebrated how being kind, welcoming, and inclusive helps everyone feel happy and valued.
