Our Nursery children have been busy little builders during their small-group maths activities! They enjoyed building towers using different resources and then comparing them to see which tower was tall and small.

The children were encouraged to count the blocks in their towers, use mathematical language to describe their creations and make comparisons with their friends. They developed their understanding of height, size and measurement while having lots of fun building, experimenting and problem solving together!

It was wonderful to see the children working collaboratively, sharing ideas and proudly showing off their towers!
