we were very lucky this week to welcome two Police officers to school who talked about their role in keeping people safe, showed us their uniforms and let the children try on some of their clothes and feel how heavy the police jackets are. The children were also very excited to see the police van in the school grounds climbing into the back of the van to explore and sit in the passengers seats pretending to be police officers. The children were excited to hear the sirens and the see the lights flashing on the police van and the meet Bobby the police mascot. How exciting !
