We read a book in Spanish about a little boy who was going to school .He had to overcome all the obstacles with his mum to make sure he wasn’t late. We also sang some songs and counted in Spanish to 20.
In Spanish we recapped our numbers and learnt the animals. We read Jack and the Beanstalk in Spanish.
we enjoyed our Spanish lesson this week listening to a new story about Pablo visiting the zoo and learning to name animals using the correct Spanish vocabulary.

This week we have been learning to recite nursery rhymes in our Spanish lessons. Well done everyone !

We started off with a game , If you caught the soft ball you had to answer the question. We had questions like, How old are you? How are you feeling? What is your name? We then had some sentences and had a go at putting them in the correct order. We finished of with a Spanish poem.
Class 3 have been working hard in Spanish today 🇪🇸📅
We’ve been learning how to say the date using Hoy es…, practising days of the week, numbers and months in Spanish. Lots of great speaking and confidence on show — well done Class 3! 👏✨
The children have been learning to name some wild animals in Spanish and today we played a game of hide the animal. As an animal was taken away from the group the children had to remember the animals and recall their name in Spanish.

For today’s activity, the children made sentences by rearranging muddled words.
This week the children were able to say number names in order and count body movements using their knowledge of the Spanish vocabulary. Well done everyone !
