Food for Thought day

In Year 4, we learned how to make a simple and healthy stir-fry. The children practised safe cutting techniques, learning how to hold a knife correctly and chop a variety of vegetables such as peppers, carrots, mushrooms, cabbage and also learnt how to press garlic. The lesson helped them build confidence in the kitchen while exploring healthy eating and teamwork. Year 4 really enjoyed this lesson as there was a lot of teamwork and learning together.
