In PSHE, we are learning about the different people who help us in our everyday lives and keep us safe, healthy and happy. We think about what they do, how they support us, and how we can ask for help when we need it.
Who Helps Us?
- Family and carers – They look after us, keep us safe, help us learn and make sure we have what we need.
- Teachers and school staff – They help us learn, solve problems and feel safe at school.
- Friends – They support us, play with us and help us feel included.
- Doctors and nurses – They help us stay healthy and look after us when we’re ill or hurt.
- Police officers – They help keep everyone safe in our community.
- Firefighters – They help in emergencies like fires and accidents.
- Community helpers (librarians, bus drivers, shop workers) – They help our community run smoothly.
We came together to create a mind map on who helps us.
