Class 3 had the pleasure of visiting the local theatre the Royal Court Liverpool for a special tour. We were all excited as we arrived, not just to see the grand stage, but to explore what goes on behind the scenes during a production.

A guide welcomed us and took us backstage, it was amazing to learn how much work happens before the actors even step on stage. We also got to see the lighting and sound control room. The technicians explained how they use computers and special equipment to create effects that match the mood of each scene.
The visit made us realise that a successful performance is not just about the actors, it’s a team effort involving many people working behind the curtain.
