Nursery and Reception children have been busy exploring ice in the garden when it was snowy. They loved investigating how cold and slippery the ice felt and watched closely as it began to melt in their hands. The children then used watercolours to paint the ice, noticing how the colours spread and blended as the ice melted. It was a wonderful sensory experience full of curiosity, creativity, and scientific thinking.
