Dear Families,
Parenting workshop 9am Tuesday 20th September (60-90 minutes)
We are lucky to have our CAMBS support worker Rebecca Farmer visiting school next Tuesday to deliver a parent workshop called “Positive Nurturing Tools for Behaviour”. This is suitable for all parents and ages of children, if you can’t come you are welcome to invite an additional carer in your place such as a grandparent.
Aims – for parents/carers to understand:
*what we mean by the term “Challenging Behaviour”
*risk factors for emotional difficulties in children
*how behaviours and emotional difficulties may present
*tools for assessment to identify functions of behaviours
*positive behaviour management
*what Alder Hey CAMHS offers
