As you may have seen, there are planned works for the pavements and road around school. This is due to take place from Monday for 4 weeks. This cannot be postponed so it will be going ahead from 7am each morning.

The pavement near to the old school building will be closed from Monday, as extensive work will be taking place to replace and repair the kerbs and paving stones. This means that there will be very little space for you to park or wait for the children . The rules about parking on zig zag lines will still be in place so I am sure you will understand that this is going to create lots of potential issues at drop off and pick up times if parents do not adapt.

Therefore can we please ask that for the safety and well-being of the children, parents park away from school or walk to collect their children. If people do not do this, the risk of a child being run over and injured is very hight as it will be very busy around school.
